Hey all this is my version of making a Server some others you find on the net don't explain anything (that's what I think anyway).

It is an easy and quick way to get a server started.

Step1: run unreal

Step2: press esc and goto options then advanced options (down the bottom)

Step3: then goto networking, master server uplink, then douplink and set it to true (this shows your server so people can chose it)

Step4: now goto a new thing that says gamesettings, at the top of that menu there is admin pass, type a pass in it... (you will need to do this so u can summon things for people *only in coop game)

Step5: in the option networking (near the bottom of advanced options) you can name your server also by your can go into public server and can tell people your nickname and email and other details.

Step6: closed advanced options

Step7: goto multiplayer start game, select the type of game u want eg: coop game, death match, etc

Step8: and then chose the map u want if u are doing a coop game chose a map that DOESN'T say Dm infront of it... (coop means cooperative so you and your friends can play the map together)

Step9: goto start game and type in where it says password: (your admin pass u typed in advanced options) then goto start game and it shall load (happy gaming) :o)
